N52 Neodymium Core
Not all magnets are created equal. We utilize a custom-machined, industrial-grade N52 Neodymium core—the strongest class of permanent magnet commercially available on the market today. This dense magnetic field ensures that even the heaviest, stiffest braided Thunderbolt and HDMI cables snap firmly into place from a distance, and stay locked in, defying gravity.
Micro-Suction Nano Base
Standard 3M tape leaves a permanent, gummy residue that can permanently strip the veneer off expensive desks. AERA utilizes a proprietary, washable nano-suction material. The surface contains millions of microscopic air pockets. When pressed onto a flat surface, it creates a powerful vacuum seal. It holds like superglue, but peels off like a Post-It note, leaving zero trace.
6.2mm Precision Tolerance
The internal channel of the AERA block was CNC-prototyped over dozens of iterations to find the perfect universal fit. At exactly 6.2mm in diameter, it is wide enough to let a standard Apple Lightning or USB-C cable slide smoothly for easy pulling, yet tight enough to firmly grip thick, heavy-duty braided cables without pinching their internal wires.
The Finishing Process
The outer shell is injection-molded from a high-impact ABS polymer, designed to withstand daily physical impact without cracking. We bypassed cheap glossy plastics for a premium, fingerprint-resistant matte texture. Available in Stealth Black to melt into the shadows of a dark setup, or Studio White to pop cleanly against natural oak.
